Terms of Service

This page is a template we wrote ourselves, not a document reviewed by a lawyer. Treat it as a starting point, not finished legal advice.

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fightin.gg ("we", "us", the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account.
The information you give us when creating or updating your account must be accurate.
You may sign in with email and password, or with a supported third-party sign-in option (such as Discord or Google), and you may optionally link other accounts (such as Steam) to your profile.

3. Using Fightin.gg

Fightin.gg lets you discover, join, and run tournaments. Depending on your role in a given tournament (participant, organizer, moderator, or reporter), you may be able to register for events, report or confirm match results, manage brackets and check-in, or moderate a tournament's activity. Organizers and moderators are responsible for running their tournaments fairly and for how they use the tools we provide.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
Misrepresent match results, manipulate brackets, or otherwise cheat.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, tournaments, or systems you do not control.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Content

You keep ownership of the content you submit (such as your profile information, tournament descriptions, and match results), and you give us permission to display it as part of running the Service. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to post what you submit.

6. Payments

Fightin.gg does not currently process payments. If a tournament involves an entry fee or prize, that arrangement is between the organizer and participants, and is not handled by Fightin.gg.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We are not liable for any unavailability of the Service.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fightin.gg is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. If you continue to use Fightin.gg after a change is posted, you accept the updated Terms.
